As a pro-life Christian as well as an adult adoptee I am thankful Tulsa is participating in this important awareness event, and pray for Godly leaders and laws which will end abortulon.
I also pray for the right of all adult adoptees to be restored as six U.S. states have already legislated to obtain their original birth certificate like all other American citizens.
Studies have shown that in “open records” states abortion has actually decreased and it is found that “sealed records” statutes were enacted in the 40′s to protect the adoptive parents, not the confidentiality of birth mothers.
The American Adoption Congress as well as the Child Welfare League of America strongly support adoptee access legislation.
